The field of Educational Administration began by focusing on management but recently it is also focusing on leadership. The purpose of this study is to examine the development of women’s leadership in Mexican Principals and Directors of Educational Projects in the public or private sector of Mexico, from a cultural perspective. This study revealed issues that are commonly hidden or denied, for cultural reasons in our country. This research report is about some of the most important findings of this study. We seek to address four main questions:  1.Which is the impact of culture and values in women’s leadership development in Mexico?  2. What are the most important values of women’s leadership in Mexico? 3. Which is the leadership profile of women Principals and Directors of Educational Projects in Mexico? 4. How does women’s leadership impact the educational institution development? This study included the revision of specialized literature about women’s leadership; this stage also included the revision of some studies that analyze how cultural aspects are involved in leadership development; then we immediately proceeded to select our research design. A qualitative, open-ended approach is taken to analyze the experiences that women leaders in Education in Mexico have had in the recent years. We decided to use Focus Groups and open-ended interviews, to explore their perceptions about this matter.
